Suzuki’s premium hatchback, the Baleno has seen a fresh upgrade and is now out in the Indian market with an inevitable Nepal release on the horizon. The hatchback has been refreshed with a fresh sense of premium-ness and class-leading features.
The changes are minimal with the most apparent being the front fascia, gone is the old sleek looking grill that emphasized on the premium feel of the Baleno, instead, the refreshed model now gets an all-new grill that’s mean and aggressive. LED projector headlamps now replace the HID projectors. The new Baleno also gets a new fog lamp module and new 16-inch alloy wheels.[gallery size="full" ids="7324,7325,7323"]Under the hood, the new Baleno is powered by the same 1.2-liter engine and gearbox as its predecessor making the same power figures. The interiors are upgraded with refreshed premium ornamentation. The new Baleno gets a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which debuted on the new Wagon R.[gallery size="full" ids="7327,7326"]The new Baleno will offer additional safety features like speed alert system, co-driver seat belt reminder, and rear parking assist sensors. These are over and above the standard dual airbags, child seat restraint system (ISOFIX), Pre-tensioner and force limiter seat belts and ABS with EBD.
